ARTIST STATEMENT
My hope for my work is that it is oasis-like, quiet invitation to complexity that lies beyond the surface. I find inspiration in my faith & deep curiosity about life's questions. Like water flowing or trees rustling, the more we observe, the more we begin to recognize a "gentle complexity" in the way things are. This concept of “gentle complexity” is what I strive to express- the more you look, the more you become still, the more you notice. Then the question of “how fine art can be of service to others” presents itself; Every question simply a further invitation.
Art serves beauty, and beauty serves truth.
