Kacey Riel

Kacey Riel is a visual artist residing and working in Charlotte, NC. She works at a local restaurant called Brown Bag as a front of house server/ social media marketer and is an emerging artist in the city. Her work includes black and white film photography, mixed media, and painting. She focuses on life’s everyday experiences as well as looking for beauty in ordinary spaces. She explores the ideas of home, change, and faith over the course of the last 4 years. She loves experimenting with new techniques, mediums, and styles. She is currently exploring new methods of approaching her work and process.' She graduated with a Bachelors of Art in Studio Art at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia (2023). She studied Spanish with a Spanish Translation and Interpretation minor. Kacey is passionate about the arts and connecting with different people. She loves making coffee and has now found her favorite coffee shops in Charlotte.
