Josie & Lilly To all who are missing someone dear and to all I dearly miss. May we one day sing with our hearts restored. - "I believe that each work of art, whether it is a work of great genius or something very small, comes to the artist and says, 'Here I am, enflesh me. Give birth to me.'" (Madeline L'Engle, Walking on Water) This picturebook has been the longest labor of my not so long life. It was conceived as a love letter to a friend over a decade ago and is now a love letter to you! The viewer. We? Are gonna make it through. - Thankful for the faithful support (A faithfulness and belief often surpassing my own.) I received throughout. And continue to receive as she grows up! You have reminded me that surprises can be very good. And I am begrudgingly grateful. Thank you, for being here today. *The Princess Diaries queenly wave*
